grow learn share

Grow produce, farmers, community and customers. Learning continually from other respected regenerative farmers. Sharing knowledge and produce with our community.

Luke, the farmer

A CHEF BY TRADE, LUKE HAS ALWAYS HAD A PASSION FOR CREATING DELICIOUS FOOD WITH FRESH INGREDEINTS BUT EARLY ON IN HIS CAREER HE REALISED THE GAP BETWEEN FARMER AND CONSUMER WAS HUGE. BEING ABLE TO COOK WITH OUR HOME-GROWN PRODUCE, HAS REIGNITED THIS PASSION AND GIVEN LUKE THE VISION FOR DEVELOPING A CONNECTION BETWEEN THE FARMER AND CONSUMER IN OUR LOCAL REGION. HE HOPES THAT IN TURN THIS WILL BUILD COMMUNITY CONNECTION AND GIVE FARMERS IN OUR LOCAL AREA THAT GROW PORK, LAMB, BEEF OR CHICKEN PRODUCTS A SENSE OF PRIDE AND APPRECIATION.

SUSTAINABLE. REGENERATIVE. ETHICAL

Luke is always researching, and learning from other knowledgeable farmers when it comes to the most sustainable and regenerative farming techniques. He has really enjoyed experimenting with mixed farming; however, since we grew and processed our first batch of meat chickens, he wants to put all his energy into these birds because there is such a need for ethically and nutritionally grown and processed chicken in Australia.

TINY AWAY

We were lucky enough to team with Tiny Away and have a tiny home put in our farm.

GUESTS

Some of our guests enjoying an evening fire and meeting our cows.

Our farm is home to many animals, and we aim to give them the best possible life.

Our residents include sheep, cows, pigs, ducks, meat chickens and of course our meat chickens.
Our meat chickens
We get our meat chickens as day olds. They get lots of cuddles in these early weeks. Our chickens are raised in a brooder to begin with and then moved to chicken tractors and moved daily to enjoy fresh pasture.
Our cows
We have a small herd of thirty cows and calves which we graze rotationally throughout the year.
Our sheep
Our dorper flock has grown to thirty. We have twenty breeding ewe's who have blessed us with many beautiful little lambs. We often get twins, which is a sign they are healthy and happy.
Our Ducks
We love our ducks. They often free range around our property and often get pats and cuddles from our boys. They are very shy and love having baths. We have Khaki Campbells, Muscovy and Peking ducks.  I love using our duck eggs in baking.
We look forward to hearing from you and supplying you with some of our fresh produce
